I am so glad I chose the Elephant Retirement Park for my elephant experience in Chiang Mai. It is clear that the park focuses on ethical care for elephants, and I felt so comfortable knowing the elephants were not used for riding or shows. Instead, we spent time feeding, bathing, and learning about their lives. The parks staff was very knowledgeable, and we had a chance to see the elephants up close in their natural environment.
