He is also the founder of the Chakri Dynasty. Palace is very close to the artery of Bangkok and the Chao Phraya River. It is making it to defend against invasions. There are over 100 buildings on the ground.
Wat Phra Kaew is located inside the grounds of the Grand Palace and is also known as Emerald Buddha. The statue is made of a semi-precious jade stone clothed in gold. 66 Cm Tall. This is definitely a must-see place in the Grand Palace.
